Directions to Worlds Fair Marina Pier #1

From Long Island (also see alternate *): Grand Central Parkway West and exit at 9E (Northern Blvd & Whitestone Expwy.) Bear right off exit and follow the sign to Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Turn left at the first stop sign onto the Shea Stadium Service Road. Follow the road until the traffic circle. The second turnoff of the traffic circle is the one you take (Also it's the only one that goes underneath the parkway overpass). Make right to Pier #1 & the parking lot is on the right side.

From Manhattan (uptown): Triboro Bridge to Grand Central Parkway East. Exit at #9E (Northern Blvd & Whitestone Expwy). Bear right off exit (following sign to Northern Blvd). Make the first possible U turn (to the right) following the Shea Stadium signs. Go one block and turn right underneath the parkway overpass. Turn right to Pier #1 & the parking lot is on the right side.

From Manhattan(midtown,downtown): Queens Midtown Tunnel (34 St & FDR Drive) & get onto the LIE east. Approx. 4 miles Exit #22 Grand Central Pkwy West. Go 1 Exit to 9E (Northern Blvd & Whitestone Expwy.) Make a right off exit and follow the Shea Stadium Sign. Turn left onto the Shea Stadium Service Road. Follow the road until the traffic circle. The second turnoff of the traffic circle is the one you take (Also it's the only one that goes underneath the parkway overpass). Turn right to Pier #1 & the parking lot is on the right side.

* From Connecticut & Alternate Long Island: Whitestone Bridge to the Whitestone Expwy. Stay in the right lanes when you get on the Whitestone Expwy. Exit at #13 Northern Blvd & Shea Stadium. At light bear right and the parking lot for Pier #1 is on your left side.

From Brooklyn: BQE to the Grand Central Pkwy. east and Exit at #9(Northern Blvd & Whitestone Expwy). Bear right off exit (following sign to Northern Blvd). Make the first possible U turn (to the right) following the Shea Stadium signs. Go one block and turn right underneath the parkway overpass ). Turn right to Pier #1 & the parking lot is on the right side...

From New Jersey: Take the George Washington Bridge to Harlem River Dr. exit in Manhattan. Go south on the Harlem River DR. to the Triboro Bridge. Take the Triboro Bridge to the Grand Central Pkwy East Exit at #9E (Northern Blvd & Whitestone Expwy). Bear right off exit (following sign to Northern Blvd). Make the first possible U turn (to the right) following the Shea Stadium signs. Go one block and turn right underneath the parkway overpass. Turn right to Pier #1 & the parking lot is on the right side.

ake the 7 train to the stadium stop and keep the stadium on your left hand side and walk 1/2 mile to the marina.
